Where to Play Live Dragon Tiger
Eleven of the 12 casinos in our grid list live casino Dragon Tiger. We searched each casino's live lobby or read its game list on 3 November 2026, from Ireland and from a UK connection, and read how each welcome bonus treats live games in the casinos' terms between 21 October and 3 November. To play live Dragon Tiger for real money you need an account at one of them. The table shows what we found; the reviews further down add the detail.

If you are choosing between Dragon Tiger live casino sites, the deepest lobbies belong to LuckyWave, with 17 titles in its game list, WinBeast with 12, and Cosmobet and Velobet, whose live casinos each showed 11 Dragon Tiger games when searched, 10 of them live tables. ShelbyWin is the one casino in our grid without the game: its live section is all LuckyStreak, which doesn't make Dragon Tiger.
Playing Live Dragon Tiger From the UK
What you see depends on where you connect from. From the UK, Cosmobet, Velobet and Rolletto showed six Dragon Tiger games: five live tables from smaller studios such as Winfinity, XPG and SA Gaming, and Iconic21's virtual version. Zizobet showed tables from the same studios, and the Evolution and Playtech tables these four list elsewhere didn't appear. Wildies was the one casino in our grid that showed Evolution's Dragon Tiger to a UK visitor on 3 November. 7Gear's UK live casino list had no Dragon Tiger at all, Mad Casino refused UK connections in our 2 November check, and SlotRoyals' account checks list the UK among restricted countries. All of these casinos are licensed outside the UK, so playing there means you don't get the UK's licensing protections, such as its complaints routes and the national self-exclusion scheme.
What Separates the Best Live Dragon Tiger Casinos
Dragon Tiger is the same simple game everywhere, so the differences sit in the lobby: which provider's tables a casino carries, which variants it offers and what each table pays. Evolution has the widest range of variants, covered further down. Pragmatic Play, Playtech and Ezugi add their own tables, and smaller studios such as SA Gaming, XPG, AllBet and Winfinity fill many of the lobbies our UK checks reached. Ezugi's two titles in the casinos' lists include Dragon Tiger Da Sorte, and our Ezugi live casino review covers the rest of its range.
The detail that matters most is the Tie payout: Evolution pays the Tie at 11:1, but some studios pay it at 8:1, which roughly triples its house edge. Sic bo, settled by three dice in a single reveal, is another quick Asian game most of our casinos carry; our guide to live sic bo casinos shows where it runs and what its bets return.
How to Play Dragon Tiger
The Dragon Tiger rules are short. The dealer gives one card to the Dragon spot and one to the Tiger spot, and the higher card wins. You bet on Dragon, Tiger or a Tie before the cards come out. Aces are low and Kings are high, and suits don't decide the main bet. Evolution's rules for Lightning Dragon Tiger specify eight standard decks, the usual shoe for the game. Evolution's page says it is often described as a two-card version of baccarat, and it is simpler still: there is no drawing rule and no commission. If you like the same quick rhythm with a few more decisions, see our live baccarat casinos.
When the two cards match in value, the round is a tie. A Tie bet wins, and a Dragon or Tiger bet loses half its stake rather than all of it: the 96.27% the casinos list for the main bet only works with that rule. A Suited Tie bet wins only when the two cards match in both value and suit. The screen also shows roads and statistics, which record the results of earlier rounds at the table.
Dragon Tiger Odds, Payouts and RTP
With eight decks, a Dragon or Tiger bet wins 46.3% of the time, ties come up in 7.5% of rounds and suited ties in 1.7%. Here is what each bet returns over a long run.
| Bet | Pays | Chance | RTP | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon or Tiger | 1:1 (half back on a tie) | 46.27% | 96.27% | 3.73% |
| Tie | 11:1 | 7.47% | 89.64% | 10.36% |
| Suited Tie | 50:1 | 1.69% | 86.02% | 13.98% |
| Tie at studios paying 8:1 | 8:1 | 7.47% | 67.23% | 32.77% |
The figures come from our own calculation for an eight-deck shoe: after the first card, 31 of the remaining 415 cards match its value and 7 match it in suit as well. They agree with the house edges on Wizard of Odds' Dragon Tiger page, which names SA Gaming as a studio that pays the Tie at 8:1. SA Gaming's D Dragon Tiger is one of the tables UK visitors see at Cosmobet, Velobet and Rolletto, so check its Tie payout before you back a tie there.
The payouts are Evolution's, as its Dragon Tiger game page describes them: the Tie pays 11:1 whatever the suits, and the Suited Tie pays 50:1. The RTP shown in each casino's own game list agrees for most tables: LuckyWave and WinBeast list 96.27% for Evolution's Super Speed and Japanese tables and for the Dragon Tiger tables of Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Imagine Live and Beter Live, while AllBet, Red Carat and Winfinity show 96.3% and Vivo Gaming's Imperial Dragon Tiger 96.5%. On €100 staked on Dragon or Tiger you lose about €3.73 on average; the same €100 on Ties at 11:1 costs about €10.36.
Dragon Tiger Variants: Lightning, Super Speed, Phoenix and More
Evolution runs the most versions of the game. Super Speed Dragon Tiger, which Evolution calls its quickest version, shortens the betting time and speeds up the dealing under the familiar rules, and Evolution's range also includes Japanese and Emperor Dragon Tiger. Dragon Tiger Phoenix adds a third hand: you back Dragon, Tiger or Phoenix, a two-way tie pays 7:1 and three matching cards pay up to 20:1. For the studio behind them, read our Evolution live casino review.
Lightning Dragon Tiger adds random multipliers. Each round, one suit becomes the Lightning Suit with a multiplier from 2x to 8x, and winning cards of that suit multiply the payout, up to 1280x. In return, a 20% fee is added to every bet. The casinos' game lists show Lightning Dragon Tiger and Dragon Tiger Phoenix at 96.99%. The same idea drives Evolution's baccarat variant, explained in our guide to Lightning Baccarat.
Pragmatic Play Live's Dragon Tiger appears at Mad Casino and, outside the UK, at LuckyWave, WinBeast and Rolletto; our Pragmatic Play Live review covers the rest of that studio's tables.
The casinos list two Playtech versions, Live Dragon Tiger and Bet On Dragon Tiger Live, the second at 96.0%, and Cosmobet showed both outside the UK. More on the studio is in our Playtech live casino review. Not every Dragon Tiger in a lobby is live: Iconic21's Virtual Dragon Tiger appears in some live searches, but Wildies and SlotRoyals file it as a table game, so check for a real dealer before you sit down.
Dragon Tiger Strategy, Patterns and Predictor Apps
Dragon Tiger has no strategy that beats the house edge. The best you can do is choose the bet that costs least, which is Dragon or Tiger at 3.73%, and leave the Tie alone unless you accept a much higher price for the bigger payout.
The roads and statistics on screen show what has happened at the table, not what will happen. A run of Dragons doesn't make a Tiger due, and no pattern in the roads gives you an edge on the main bet. Apps, channels and "100% win" tricks that claim to predict the next card can't see it either, and any service that asks for money to sell you predictions is selling something that doesn't exist. Andar Bahar, another fast card game where one matching card settles the round, is just as unpredictable; our page on Andar Bahar casinos covers that game's bets.
