WinBeast has the biggest live roulette lobby in our list: its game list showed 242 live roulette tables from 11 studios on 26 October, led by Ezugi, Playtech, Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live. Evolution’s Lightning Roulette, Immersive Roulette, Double Ball Roulette and French Roulette Gold are all there, along with several La Partage tables, Pragmatic’s Auto Mega Roulette and Mega Roulette 3000, and high-limit Salon Privé and Prestige tables. From the UK the list is much shorter: on 27 October it showed 67 live roulette tables, none of them from Evolution, Ezugi, Playtech or Pragmatic Play Live. The downside is the bonus: WinBeast’s terms count table games and roulette at 5% of each bet towards wagering and cap bets at €5 while a bonus is active, so roulette players are better off playing with their own money.

Two things to know: the catalogue depends on where you play from (a UK connection saw 54 live roulette tables on 27 October, none from Evolution, Ezugi, Playtech or Pragmatic Play Live), and its bonus terms count roulette and live dealer games at 5% towards a 40x wagering requirement.

Wildies: Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Live French Roulette

Wildies’ game list showed 71 live roulette tables. Evolution’s side covers Lightning, XXXtreme Lightning, Immersive, Double Ball, Speed and Salon Privé, Pragmatic Play Live adds Mega Roulette and Immersive Roulette Deluxe, and Beter Live supplies a Live French Roulette table, so you can compare the big studios’ versions of the same game at one casino. Rolletto’s crypto welcome bonus applies only to slots, so roulette play does not count towards it. Its terms name Santeda International B.V. and a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence. Rolletto refused a UK connection on 27 October; on 2 November it opened for UK visitors with tables such as Live Roulette European, Cabaret Roulette and Auto Roulette, but no Lightning or Immersive Roulette.

7Gear: Lightning and Immersive Roulette from €0.50

From the UK it showed 17 roulette tables from Absolute Live Gaming, Platipus, BetGames and LuckyStreak, with no Evolution games. The casino says its live games start from €0.50 a round, the lowest stake we saw stated, which suits a small bankroll. Its bonus terms count slot bets in full and do not list live casino games among the games that count towards wagering. 7Gear is licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan.

Zizobet: Lightning, XXXtreme Lightning and French Roulette Gold

Zizobet’s live casino search found Lightning Roulette, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Evolution’s French Roulette Gold with three more French tables, Pragmatic Play’s Mega Roulette and Mega Roulette 3000, and American Roulette. Cosmobet: Eight Live Studios and Four French Roulette Tables

Cosmobet shares its live lobby with Zizobet and Velobet, so the same roulette tables came up in our search: Lightning, XXXtreme Lightning, four French tables including French Roulette Gold, Mega Roulette and American Roulette. Its live casino also lists Imagine Live, Playtech Live, Iconic21, LuckyStreak, PatePlay, SA Gaming and Winfinity next to Evolution, and the homepage features Plati+’s Live Roulette European. Cosmobet’s welcome offers run under the standard casino terms, which set no separate rate for live games. Like Zizobet, Cosmobet refused UK visitors on 27 October and showed them Lightning, XXXtreme Lightning and Immersive Roulette on 2 November.

European Roulette uses a wheel with 37 pockets, 0 to 36, and a house edge of 2.70% on every standard bet. Straight-up bets pay 35 to 1, splits 17 to 1, streets 11 to 1, corners 8 to 1 and lines 5 to 1, while red or black, odd or even and high or low pay even money. Most live tables, including Lightning, Immersive, Speed and Auto Roulette, use this single-zero wheel, and every casino in our table carries at least one. French Roulette

French Roulette uses the same single-zero wheel with the La Partage rule: if you make an even-money bet and the ball lands on zero, you lose only half your stake. That cuts the house edge on red or black, odd or even and high or low from 2.70% to 1.35%, the best odds at a standard roulette table. In our check, Evolution’s French Roulette Gold was listed at WinBeast, LuckyWave, Zizobet, Cosmobet and Velobet, Rolletto had Evolution’s French Roulette and Auto-Roulette La Partage, and Wildies and Odin Fortune had Beter Live’s Live French Roulette.

American Roulette

American Roulette adds a double zero, so the wheel has 38 pockets and the house edge rises to 5.26%, almost twice the European figure. The casinos’ own game lists show it with an RTP of 94.74%, against 97.3% for European tables. WinBeast, LuckyWave, 7Gear, Mad Casino, Rolletto, Zizobet, Cosmobet and Velobet all list it, but there is no reason to choose it over a single-zero table.

Lightning Roulette

Lightning Roulette is Evolution’s European Roulette with random multipliers. In each round, between one and five Lucky Numbers are struck by lightning and given multipliers from 50x to 500x for straight-up bets, while straight-up wins on other numbers pay 29 to 1 instead of 35 to 1. XXXtreme Lightning Roulette

XXXtreme Lightning Roulette pushes the same idea further. Lightning Numbers carry 50x to 500x, Double Strikes raise them to between 600x and 2,000x, and Chain Lightning can add up to nine more lucky numbers, to a maximum of ten in a round. Speed Roulette

Speed Roulette keeps European rules but cuts the time between spins: Evolution’s version takes about 25 seconds from spin to spin. Immersive Roulette

Immersive Roulette is European Roulette filmed with several cameras and slow-motion replays of the ball dropping into its pocket. Auto Roulette

Double Ball Roulette

Evolution’s Double Ball Roulette launches two balls into one wheel, which creates bets on both balls together, with payouts of up to 1,300 to 1 when both land on the same chosen number. We found it at WinBeast, LuckyWave and Wildies.

Mega Roulette

Mega Roulette is Pragmatic Play Live’s single-zero answer to Lightning Roulette: between one and five Mega Multipliers of 50x to 500x land on straight-up numbers each round, as Pragmatic Play’s Mega Roulette page explains. LuckyWave’s game list shows it at 96.5% RTP, a little lower than Evolution’s standard tables. LuckyWave, Wildies, Mad Casino, Zizobet, Cosmobet and Velobet list Mega Roulette, and WinBeast lists Auto Mega Roulette and Mega Roulette 3000.

Live Roulette Bonuses: How Roulette Counts Towards Wagering

A live roulette bonus is rarely what it seems. Wagering requirements are met only by bets that count, and live roulette usually counts for little or nothing.
